Formed in 2000, WPLA works with management agencies, woodland owners and the forest industry to promote and practice sustainable forest management. Members follow a strict code of conduct and attend annual continuing education programs to ensure they bring the most up-to-date knowledge and methods to the woods each day. WPLA also serves its membership by providing a unified voice on forestry issues, acting as a vehicle for progressive industry change.
