Join WPLA
WPLA has positioned itself to be a recognized leader on forestry issues among the Wisconsin legislature, the news media, U.S. Forest Service, Wisconsin congressional delegation and state agencies. The association has quickly become an important voice for the state’s logging sector. There are two ways you can join this active association.
Member Loggers: To be eligible for WPLA logger membership, you must be an owner of a logging business. This includes businesses that:
* Purchase stumpage and/or are independent logging contractors,
* Control timber harvesting,
* Or own timber harvesting equipment.
In addition, you must agree to abide by the WPLA Code of Practice.
To become a WPLA member logger, download and complete the Member Logger application form. Mail your completed form, along with your application fee to:

Supporting Company: WPLA also welcomes membership from non-logging companies affiliated with Wisconsin’s forest industry. These include:
* Pulp & paper mills,
* Sawmills,
* Harvesting equipment dealers and manufactures,
* And any firm that supports the logging sector, such as fuel vendors, parts suppliers, and others.
Supporting companies can have one of three levels of membership – Gold, Silver, or Bronze. As a Supporting Company, you demonstrate your commitment to keeping Wisconsin’s logging sector healthy and thriving.
